Bridge decks

ECOSAFE bridge decks are composite decks that are designed by Lightweight Structures B.V. based on the Dutch standards NEN 6788, NEN 6723, NEN 6702 and NEN 6706 and the Dutch composite design guideline CUR 96. The composite parts are manufactured with pultrusion or vacuum infusion.
We have several designs available for different spans, widths, heights and loads. If you give us your requirements, we will send you a quotation as soon as possible!

We have available the following decks:


ECOSAFE-P1 pultruded bridge deck for pedestrian bridges (at least equivalent to Fiberline deck)


ECOSAFE-V1 vacuum infused sandwich pedestrian deck


ECOSAFE-V45/V60 vacuum infused sandwich deck for road vehicles (45 and 60 tonnes)


On 18 December 2009 a group of engineers from several Dutch city gouvernments visited the manufacturing of a ECOSAFE-V45 bridge deck for the St. Catharinabrug in Voorschoten (Netherlands).
